Project Overview
This large steel structure, originally designed by International Engineers in 1982, served as a venue for the Sydney Olympics in 2003. Over the years, due to evolving regulations, code updates, and structural modifications, including the addition of heavy electrical installations for lighting, HVAC systems, and specific furnishings and equipment, a comprehensive structural assessment became essential.
Our Approach
For this project, the entire structure was modeled using advanced software, and standard load analyses were conducted. Materials and regulations were updated to reflect current standards. Key issues were identified, and necessary advice and recommendations were provided to the responsible authorities.
